A loan helped to buy four dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and yield of organic milk.

Zhamalbubu's story

Zhamalbubu is 44 and married with two sons and two daughters. Her oldest son is 25 and her youngest daughter is 14. She has a high school education and is knowledgeable in the technical aspects of running an agricultural business; she also knows how to allocate capital as intended. She has been working in animal husbandry since 1992 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and help from her husband, she currently has four cows, 21 sheep and two horses on her farm.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Zhamalbubu has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 KGS to buy four dairy cows to increase her head count of livestock and the volume of milk she produces. She plans to put income from the loan into further increasing her head count of livestock as well as toward building a house.
