Tilila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving business and also to purchase food such as burgers for her food market and she used some as a deposit for her loan finance business.

Tilila's story

Greetings from Tonga! This is 55 years old Tilila from the town area of Tongatapu. She is married with six children and six grandchildren, three of her children are currently attending school.

Tilila runs more than one business which is weaving and selling burgers in a food market. She used to sell ta’ovala and mats. She produces it by weaving by herself at her home.

She has been running this business for a while now because her life is more easier with the help of her income that she earns from her business. She used to work from the morning till evening almost five or six days a week. She says her business is running very actively.

Tilila has requested her loan from SPBD in order to help her businesses. She’s confident in running her business to continue to help her family and also to pay back her loan. Her vision and goals for the future is to expand her business and also to buy a new car for her business transportation.
