Zharkyn's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase her cattle headcount and the sales of organic milk.

Zharkyn's story

Zharkyn is 58 years old, widowed, and has 2 daughters and 2 sons. Zharkyn has a secondary education, and by nature she is ambitious, responsible, and hardworking. As the main source of income for her family, she has been working with agriculture and livestock since 1980.

Zharkyn's farm today has 4 cows and 1.45 hectares of irrigated land where she grows potatoes and beans. Zharkyn has a contract for the supply of organic milk at the local factory which is then made into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business.

Having found out that at the bank "Bai-Tushum," she can receive a loan using the security of a contract of future delivery, as part of the "value chain product," she applied for a loan of 30,000 som (KGS) to buy a dairy cow to increase the size of her herd and the sales of milk volume. The factory's payments for the milk will be directly transferred to Zharkyn's bank account, and the loan payment will be automatically withdrawn.

She plans to invest the proceeds from the loan into the building of a shed for her livestock and to fix her house, and part of it will be set aside for her oldest son's wedding.
