Luzviminda Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to to buy in bulk vegetables, meat, pasta, eggs and condiments so she could prepare more breakfast items and offer snack items to her customers.

Luzviminda Group's story

Joanna, 34 years old, is a single mother to two. Solely supporting the needs of their family, Joanna has engaged in different income-generating activities in the past from selling different personal items and real estate referrals. However, with the increasing needs of her children, Joanna thought of selling breakfast items last year. Joanna is happy to have regular customers and regular income that comes daily. She knows that she could further improve her business but lacks thecapital to do so.

For this, Joanna is happy that she became part of the women's group that SEED Center Philippines, Inc. has helped organize in their community. She is requesting a loan to buy in bulk vegetables, meat, pasta, eggs and condiments so she could prepare more breakfast items and offer snack items to her customers. She hopes that by having more dishes and extending her store hours until late morning, she will be able to reach more customers and earn more. Part of the loan proceeds will also be shared with her co-members who are also into small business such as vegetable vending, rug making and ambulant food vending.
