Maqsoodan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more animals and good-quality fodder for their livestock to increase milk production.

Maqsoodan's story

Maqsoodan is a woman aged 38 and involved in a livestock business with her family at a subsistence level. She lives in a small village near Faisalabad, Pakistan. Her village is surrounded by agricultural land and is an ideal place for agriculture related businesses.

Along with her family, Maqsoodan takes care of cows and sells milk in the community to manage the living expenses of the family. She now wants to buy more animals and good-quality fodder for their livestock to increase milk production, but she is unable to do so mainly due to financial limitations. She therefore has requested a loan from JWS Pakistan to purchase nutrition- and protein-rich fodder for their cow.

This will help her increase the production of milk and earn a better income.

She is thankful to Kiva and JWS Pakistan.
