Lydia's story

When Lydia realized that jobs accessible to educated and skilled people do not provide livable wages, she took up farming. She is a mother who has faced challenges of financial imbalance and also shoulders the load of parenting. However, she has never abandoned her children.

Through practicing crop and dairy farming, Lydia has managed not only to overcome the financial deficit of her household, but also to improve her living conditions and be self-financing. Lydia is a very hard-working and honest farmer who hails from an area that has one of the best weather patterns for farming on earth.

She also has a small personal business that she does to supplement the meagre earnings she earns through horticulture and crop farming. Lydia is seeking a loan to buy seeds so that she can increase her horticultural farming.

Accessing funds is very difficult for a smallholder farmer, but Lydia is optimistic that her dream will be realized and her life will change. Through the income from horticulture, Lydia will assure her children a bright future by paying their tuition fees.

Through your loan, the promise of supporting small-scale farmers will be achieved. Lydia dreams of fixing her house so her family can live better and more comfortably. She wants to improve sales and increase her clients so she can do better. Support this amazing mother and lend now.
