Marsiyana's story

Marsiyana is 51 years old, married and has 3 adult sons and a daughter. She has a higher education. Marsiyana is a hardworking and responsible woman by nature.

Marsiyana has been involved in animal husbandry and crop farming as her family's main source of income since 1990. Currently, she owns 2 cows and a plot of land measured 2.92 hectares where she grows beans and plums.

With the goal to develop her business further, Marsiyana applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows in order to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk. Marsiyana plans to invest the profits from the loan to the further development of her farm by increasing her cattle headcount and also save a portion of the income for a construction of a new house for the family.
