G.s La Tormenta Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fertilizers and supplies to apply to her crop.

G.s La Tormenta Group's story

Maria is 46 years old and married. She has three children and lives with her family in the municipality of Lepaera, Lempira. Eight years ago, she decided to start her business of producing and selling coffee. She sells the harvests she obtains to brokers and at the local market.

She wants to make some improvements to her coffee crop, so she has requested a loan from the institution, as part of a group, for the purchase of supplies for her planting and for paying labors costs to clean the land. Her goal is to get better production and expand her sales to more parts of the country. With the income, she hopes that her farm will become bigger and provide her children with a better lifestyle.

Maria belongs to the group G.s. La Tormenta. It is made up of three people who live in the same area and have great experience in growing coffee. Previously, these three worked growing basic grains. The amount of the loan is 27,000 HNL. They will invest it in the maintenance of their farms, fertilization, and supplies for their coffee crops.
