Thanh Luong 58 Group's story

Mrs. Tien, 31, is a Thai ethnic woman who is married and has two children: a 12-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl.

Currently, Tien lives with her parent-in-law, husband, and children in a Thai stilt house. They rely mainly on agricultural production for a living, from several activities such as growing rice and corn, and breeding buffalo, pigs, fish, and geese.

Tien's family income is low but the living expense is high, so she has always wanted to increase production to help her family gradually escape from poverty. This is the seventh time that Mrs. Tien has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program. She will use the loan to buy food for the pigs.

She hopes that her investment will go well and bring good income for her family. Mrs. Tien dreams of a more abundant life for her family, with better living conditions. In the picture, she stands at the first from the right.
