Southlands Green Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to restock more clothing items from Zambia.

Southlands Green Group's story

Southlands Green Group is an assembly of four business ladies joined together with the common goal of expanding their businesses. The group members have known each other for more than four years and they all reside in Harare. They approached Thrive Microfinance for the second time to get financial assistance.

A 43 year old lady named Estere is one of the group members. She has eight years experience in the business of selling clothing that she restocks from Zambia. Estere uses 300 USD to restock clothes, shoes and java clothing materials.

She sells her products at the busy market of Mbare in Harare. Her husband owns a barber shop. They are blessed with three children. The other group members are Brenda, Esther and Zvanyadza who all reside within a walking distance of each other. They are all cross-border traders usually crossing together or sending each other when restocking.

From the combined group loan, Estere used her share to restock more clothing items from Zambia. She hopes to open a shop of her own in the future.
