Sababuyuma Group's story

Moctar is the person holding the two rams at the front of the group in the picture. Moctar, age 41, is married and has eight children (ages 3 to 15), including two attending school. He has been raising sheep for over fifteen years. His wife, who takes care of the family has a small retail business. With Kiva loans, he buys his livestock in his village and sells at local markets.
His loans with RMCR-Kiva contribute considerably to the development of his livestock business and enable him to cover his family's needs with his profits.
In the future, Moctar hopes to buy more livestock if he is able to receive a substantial loan. In his business, the difficulty he faces is drops in sales prices at the market.
