In order to supplement her family's income, Salyika grows crops and raises livestock. She currently has 2 cows, 2 sheep and a 2.45-hectare plot of land where she grows organic beans and plums. Salyika has a contract to supply a local factory with organic milk for further processing into dairy products, This allows her to constantly reinvest in her farming business.

When Salyika found out that Bai Tushum Bank offers a product called a "Value added chain", which allows you to take out a loan against future sales, she decided to apply for a loan of 120,000 som. Salyika plans to use the loan to buy diary cows to increase her number of cattle and organic milk sales. The factory's milk payments will go straight into Salyika's bank account, and the loan repayments will be automatically deducted.
