Rosa Esmeralda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chicken, dough, banana leaves, onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, and cooking oil.

Rosa Esmeralda's story

Rosa is a very proactive, hardworking, responsible woman and above all, is very dedicated to her business of food preparation and selling. One of the dishes most sought-after by her loyal customers and typical of this beautiful city of Nicaragua is the traditional one.

She is very grateful to Kiva and MiCredito for all the support she received from both the institutions. Thanks to the funding granted she has grown her business little by little, thus providing a better quality of her family consisting of her husband and one of their three children who is a dependent.

Given the good experience she has had with the previous financing, she has again knocked on Kiva's and MiCredito's doors to benefit from another loan. This loan allows her to invest in her business. She will buy chicken, dough, plantain leaves, onions, sweet peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, and cooking oil.

In the future, she would like to continue growing her business, be more well-known, and with her profits to continue to change her quality of life, making home improvements.
