Multan, Punjab, Pakistan / Agriculture

Nazia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy an additional cow for her home-based milk-sales business and increase her income.

Nazia's story

Nazia is a hardworking, self-employed 33-year-old woman and the mother of three children aged ten, seven, and six. All are going to school and getting a primary education. She lives with her family in the village area of Multan, Pakistan. Her husband is a truck driver.

Eleven years ago, Nazia established a milk-selling business. She wants to purchase an additional cow and wants to increase her revenue, but due to insufficient financial means, she is unable to purchase a cow.

To fulfill this need, Nazia is once again asking for a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan. With the loan, she can purchase a cow for her milk-sales business in order to increase her income. This is her sixth loan cycle with BRAC Pakistan.

Nazia is thankful to Kiva, lenders, and field partner BRAC Pakistan.
