Janet Chinaniso's story

Janet is a 55-year-old woman who lives in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is single and stays with her three children, one who is out of employment, and two who are in college. She also stays with her grandchild who is in primary school.

She runs a tuck shop where she sells items such as bathing soap, washing soap, drinks, biscuits, snacks, sugar, and cooking oil, among other items. She has been running this business for 18 years now.

Janet has requested a loan from Microhub, to purchase and stock up on additional bathing soap, washing soap, drinks, and biscuits, in order to meet demand.

Income from this business will help her pay for her children's fees, her grandchild's fees, and general family upkeep. As a single parent, this is her only source of income for supporting her family.
