Tatenda

Tatenda is a 20-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her mother in the Muzarabani district in Zimbabwe. She is requesting a Kiva loan in order to start her own goat production. Tatenda plans to use the profit she earns to support her family. She will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a Camfed Transition Guide, supporting other young women who are just entering Camfed’s alumnae organization, CAMA, by delivering an orientation course with weekly sessions on topics including health, financial literacy, and career guidance.
