Princess's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy grocery products.
Princess is a 21-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her parents in Hurungwe district in Zimbabwe. She is buying and selling groceries at home. Princess is now requesting a Kiva loan in order to purchase more and a variety of groceries. She plans to use the profit she earns to buy her own clothes and food for the family. Princess will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a Camfed Learner Guide, facilitating classes from Camfed’s ‘My Better World’ program with students at her local secondary school, helping to build children’s self-esteem and motivating them to remain in school.
