Lynet's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens and feed.

Lynet's story

Lynet is a 21-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her mother and sibling in the Kwekwe District, in Zimbabwe.

She is requesting a Kiva loan in order to start her own poultry business, rearing broiler chickens. Lynet plans to use the profit she earns to pay school fees for her younger sister.

She will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a Camfed learner guide, facilitating classes from Camfed’s ‘My Better World’ program with students at her local secondary school, helping to build children’s self-esteem and motivating them to remain in school.
