Christopher's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped invest in equipment, inventory, and gain working capital to scale for my retail launch.
I grew up in the Bay Area in California, raised by my parents, who were both from working class families, with my 3 other siblings. They taught me to think for myself and follow my passions. At 17 I went to college at West Virginia University where I gained new perspectives and learned to be independent far from any family. After graduation I moved out to Arlington Virginia, where I am today, to work in the IT field. I learned many valuable lessons while in IT but ultimately couldn't find a passion for it, so I took a risk and a pay cut to get into beverage sales. I loved the type of work and constant interactions but I saw a problem with the way things were being done in the convenience space that I wanted to solve. I thought I could make a big positive impact if I found a single use packaging free solution. It took some convincing myself that Tea Cubes were a good idea, then I decided to jump in with both feet to start Clarks Tea Cubes. I have never felt so alive or had this much passion before doing so.
