Maseray's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase more ground nuts, beans, yams, cassava, potato, palm oil, etc. to increase her business.

Maseray's story

Meet 45 year old Maseray. She is married with 4 children between the ages of 12 and 28 years old. Three of the children are currently attending school.

Maseray runs a local food business and sells ground nuts, beans, yams, cassava, potato, palm oil, etc. to her customers around the community. She has been in this business for the past 20 years now and works 10 hours per day and 6 days a week. Her other source of income is from her husband. Her main challenge is slow sales during the rainy season.

Maseray requested this loan from BRAC to purchase more ground nuts, beans, yams, cassava, potato, palm oil, etc. to increase her business. She says that the extra income from this loan will help to take care of her family and take care of her children. In the next 5 years she wants to expand.

She says thanks and expresses appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
