A loan helped purchase bundles of clothing.

Teresa De Jesus's story

Teresa is married and has a son who helps with the household expenses. They live in the city of El Cerro Marcovia, which is 20 minutes away from the city of Choluteca. She works selling used clothing. She is well regarded in the community because of her business. Her business is based in her home, and she sells to employees of sugar mills and melon plantations,

Teresa is seeking a loan to purchase bundles of clothing so that she can offer more variety to her customers. In the future, she would like to sell other products and increase her earnings. She is very grateful from Prisma and Kiva for the support that they have offered her in developing her business.

Teresa's dream is to grow her business and increase the variety of products that she sells to her customers. She used to have a restaurant, but she closed it because it was very hard work for little profit, and opened the clothing store.
