Ashkhen's story

Meet Ashkhen, a hard-working businesswoman from the town of Vanadzor. She lives with her husband and four beautiful children; Mariam (16), Meline (13), Misha (11) and Daniel (2). Together with her husband, Ashkhen she has managed a retail business for almost four years, where she sells fruits and vegetables from different regions of Armenia and also from neighboring countries. They have special warehouses with refrigerators where they keep the products fresh. This business is seasonal and brings a lot of uncertainties.

To develop the business and meet the demand during the season, Ashkhen decided to apply for a financial help. They plan to expand the variety of fruits brought from another Armenian region and resell them at the local market.

Ashkhen and her family are sure that this will give them the opportunity to meet the demand and they will be able to develop their business. All this is being done to ensure better living conditions and proper education for her kids.
