Farzana's story

Farzana is a 39-year-old married woman, living with her spouse in the area of Multan, Pakistan. Farzana also has three children. Her husband is responsible for fulfilling the needs of the entire family.

Farzana’s husband operates a food stall where he sells gol gappay (spicy food). He cooks delicious gol gappay. He has been running his gol gappay food stall for ten years, and his stall is located in a good area of Multan. Farzana will use the 45,000 PKR loan to buy onions, tomatoes, potatoes, and cooking oil, etc. for her husband’s food stall. This is Farzana’s 5th loan with BRAC Pakistan Microfinance.
