Linda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some more kava seeds for growing on her kava plantation and also to pay for the laborers and ploughing.

Linda's story

Linda is a 46-year-old married woman who has four children, three of whom are currently attending school. She is currently running her business selling kava and also selling perfume. She has a plantation of kava Tonga (Tongan beer) and includes the help of her husband in her business.

When they harvest kava they sell it out and she earns weekly from her business. Linda also sells Lereve perfumes. They faced challenges from the damaging of their barber shop by the cyclone and it triggered them to decide on another business to replace the barber shop.

Linda had their loan to buy some more kava seeds to grow the plantation and also pay for the laborers and the ploughing. At the moment they are still working hard on their business to achieve their dream, which is to expand their business market overseas and also add some more business but most importantly to provide financial support for her children.
