Seidy María's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy laying hens.

Seidy María's story

40-year old Seidy María is married and lives with her husband and children who are her major priority. With her loan she plans to buy some hens which have the characteristics of good layers and which are beginning the laying period. In addition she will buy good quality food so that the chickens are well-nourished and don't become weak from laying eggs.

Seidy María's idea is to benefit from the good conditions of the place where she lives to develop this business. As well as having the hens that are developing well and regularly producing eggs, she plans to sell the eggs to her neighbours in the community.

Through the purchases she will be able to further develop her business and at the same time save money so she can have more hens and invest in the business. This is her first loan through FUDECOSUR, and she hasn't had any other bank loans in the past. FUDECOSUR is providing her with better terms and much lower interest rates.
