Benedicta's Group's story

The banc villageois that this group of 8 women belongs to was launched in November 2012. The women mainly work as merchants selling various products.

Ms. Benedicta, who is on the right side of the photo and has her hand raised, is the group representative. She is 37 years old and married and has 3 children, 1 of whom is a girl. Ms. Benedicta has been selling fruit juice for several years. With her new loan, she intends to buy a large quantity of baobab fruit, hibiscus leaves and sugar to make fruit juice, which she will sell from her home and door-to-door.

The profits will be used to help her husband pay for their daily expenses and take care of their children's education and health.
