Anta's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy smoked fish, dried fish, vegetables and sheep.

Anta's Group's story

This group was created in October 2012 at the same time as the banc villageois. It consists of 7 women who all live in the same area and who get along well.

Mrs. Anta is the group's representative. In the photo, she is the member standing on the right and raising her hand. She is a 67-year-old widowed mother to 10 children, 3 girls and 7 boys. She sells fish products and vegetables, and she also raises sheep.

Anta will use her loan to buy 50 kg of dried fish, 50 kg of smoked fish and 2 sheep for resale at her local weekly market. Her profits will help her to support her children's needs and to cover household expenses.
