Rouwaida's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay school tuition fees for her three children.

Rouwaida's story

Rouwaida is a 33-year-old, hardworking mother who lives in Lebanon. She’s a mother of three and has been working for nine years as a hairdresser and nail artist.

This is her ninth loan cycle from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua, and she proved to be a reliable borrower.

Rouwaida is very talented, but works from home since she can’t afford opening her own shop due to her limited financial status. She mentioned that the previous loans she took not only helped her financially and socially, but also helped her improve her self-confidence since she was able to support her children and accomplish some of her goals.

Rouwaida needs the loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua to pay school tuition fees for her three children.

Her dream is to see her children graduate and tailor their own successful future, in addition to investing in her talent by opening her own salon.
