Lydia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase additional stock of material for sewing dresses and meet demand for the upcoming festive season.

Lydia's story

Lydia is a female aged 39 years who lives in Kadoma, Zimbabwe. She is a single mother and stays with her two children, one who is in secondary school, and the other who is in primary school.

She runs a tailoring business where she sews dresses that she supplies to boutiques and individuals. She has been running this business for ten years.

She has requested for a loan from Microhub to purchase additional stock of material for sewing ladies' dresses, as she has been receiving increased orders from boutiques that are stocking up for the coming festive season.

Income from this business will help her pay her children's fees, house rentals, medication for her chronically-ill mother in a rural area, and general family upkeep. As a single mother, this business is her only source of income.
