Hawa's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy ten 50 kg bags of peanuts, 20 stacks of firewood and five 20 litre drums of oil.

Hawa's Group's story

The Banc Villageois that this 8-member group belongs to was established in December 2012. There is a good rapport among the group members. They live in the same village and maintain supportive relations with each other. Their main occupation is running small businesses.

Ms. Hawa (standing at the far right with her hand raised) is the group representative. She is 57 years old, married and a mother of 5 children. Her business is selling peanuts and palm oil.

With this new loan, she wants to buy 20 stacks of firewood, 5 (20-litre) drums of oil and 10 (50 kg) bags of peanuts. This will enable her to process the peanuts and oil into paste that she will then sell retail in her house. Her stock is renewable.

Hawa's earnings will allow her to contribute to the care and needs of her family such as daily expenses, food, clothing etc.
