Doreen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy an additional dairy cow to meet the high demand for milk in her area, and so she can make profits to support her family.

Doreen's story

Doreen is a beautiful hardworking smallholder mom. She gets up every morning and is fully dedicated to her farm work. She thinks only of progressing, and nothing less. She is happily married and has a lovely family.

Doreen resides in the Chuka area of Kenya, a remote town with harsh living conditions because of the bad terrain in the region. However, it is favorable for dairy farming. Doreen’s primary sources of income are milk sales and a personal business she engages in to make ends meet. Demand for milk in her area is high, but the supply is low. She has managed to take care of her family with her income from selling milk.

Doreen has always wanted to have another dairy cow, but a lack of capital has prevented her from doing so. She is now seeking a loan to buy an additional dairy cow to improve her dairy business. The cow she intends to buy is a breed that produces rich creamy milk. With this cow, she will have more milk, which will translate into more income. So, through this loan, Doreen is going to have more milk and be able to comfortably meet demand.

Be inspired and kindly lend to her!
