Irma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay the maintenance expenses, such as weeding and pruning, for her plot of cacao trees.

Irma's story

Irma is 52 years old and has two children. For more than 10 years, she has been producing and selling dried and fresh cacao beans of different varieties.

It has been very difficult for Irma to increase her production, which requires preventing pests and practicing good farming habits. She is currently requesting a loan to invest in the maintenance of her plot of cacao trees, including weeding and pruning.

“I consider myself to be a responsible, honest, and hardworking woman,” says Irma. She also cultivates corn, bakes bread, and raises cattle and poultry. Irma hopes to expand her crops so that she achieve more variety in her production.
