A loan helped to buy clothing.

Gema Estefania's story

Gema is 20 years old. She is single and has a daughter, age six years, who attends school. Gema attended a distance learning school up to fifth grade. She lives with an aunt and her uncles in Jaramijo, an hospitable and prosperous city with a pretty fishing port, where most of the people work in fishing.

Gema is a very young and responsible woman who is concerned with the education and future of her daughter. To have her own income, she works selling clothing from catalogs: shirts, pants, blouses, dresses, and other items. She has had her business for a year, and she goes out to sell as a street vendor, to offer her products for four hours daily. She has established clients to whom she sells on credit and collects weekly.

This loan is to buy clothing for her business. Her dream is that her business will grow.
