Tugandurane-Nkumba Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sorghum and other ingredients she uses in the process of making sorghum drinks to sell.

Tugandurane-Nkumba Group's story

Immacule is a 44-year-old mother of seven children. She is married and lives happily in the Gacaca-Gakoro-Butunda community with her husband who is a local trader nearby. She is a very courageous mother committed to the wellbeing of her family so she works harder to improve her family living conditions.

For 17 years, Immacule has sold sorghum drinks without other employees. She wants to expand her business yet she lacks capital to be able to do so. That is the reason she is requesting this loan. With this loan she will buy more inventory and have sufficient stock of sorghum and other ingredients she uses in the process of making sorghum drinks to produce more sorghum drinks to sell. The profits generated by this loan will be used to pay for her children’s school fees. Furthermore, Immacule is the Tugandurane-Nkumba Group leader and this is her seventh loan cycle with VisionFund.

Therefore, Immacule is deeply grateful towards the Kiva lenders for allowing to offer her this loan.
