She has been raising livestock and growing crops since 1988, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and her daughter's help with the farm, it consists today of 10 cows, 20 sheep, and a 0.33-hectare plot of land on which she grows alfalfa.

In order to develop her business further, Akpari has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS), with which she will buy livestock and fodder, in order to increase her income from livestock rearing. The income generated from the loan will help Akpari improve her family's living conditions by fixing up the family home.
