Abizeyerurema Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy new fishing nets, boat paddles (oar), and repair her fishing boat.

Abizeyerurema Group's story

Charlotte is a 44-years-old mother of 7 children. She is married and lives in Ngara community. She is a good example of a hardworking woman in their community, her commitment lays on the wellbeing of her family and she is determined to work hard and improve her family’s living conditions.

For the past 5 years, Charlotte is in regular commercial fishing, in which she catches smelt fishes to sell on the market. She has 10 employees. Yet in bad weather which leads the Kivu lac to be closed for safety constitutes a major challenge to her business profit growth because in that period she does not catch any fish and she does not make any sale.

Nevertheless, Charlotte is very enthusiastic, and she wants to expand her business and ameliorate its performance, this is the reason why she is requesting this loan so that she can use the loan to buy new fishing nets, boat paddles (oar), and to repair her fishing boat. The profits generated by this loan will be used to pay for her children’s medical assurance and school fees. This is Charlotte’s 4th loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda plus she is the abizeyerurema group leader.
