Palwash's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a new replacement rickshaw for her family's transportation service business.

Palwash's story

Palwash is 31-year-old married woman, who is living with her spouse in Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured with her husband.

He has been driving an auto rickshaw in the main city and generating income for the family. His vehicle looks good externally but internally has deteriorated a lot. It cannot pick up loads and can hardly climb bridges with passengers. Palwash's husband wants to sell his current rickshaw and buy a new vehicle, but the amount he receives for the old one does not fully cover the cost of a new rickshaw.

This is the reason Palwash has requested a Kiva loan for her husband so he can buy a new rickshaw and get rid of old one. This will relieve his mental stress and he will be able to drive with full devotion to the business.

Palwash thanks Kiva and field partner BRAC Pakistan for this honorable support.
