Efuah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add to her working capital to buy more fabrics to sell.

Efuah's story

Efuah is a 53-year-old widow with two(2) children. She operates a lace fabric shop in a community in Accra.

She is a first-time borrower of Kiva funds. She travels to the textiles industries within Ghana and Togo to buy lace of different kinds and displays them in her shop for sale to interested customers who patronize her shop. She also sells at wholesale prices to mini vendors. She has been happily trading in this business for the past 20 years.

Efuah needed more funds to add to her current working capital to buy more lace fabric when she travels, so she can make more profit from the sale and supply of the cloth. She hopes to open a new branch in the near future. The income will help her provide for her children’s educational needs to the Tertiary institution.

Thank you Kiva lenders for supporting Efuah's business.
