Grupo Pajoca Las Hermanas Group's story

Manuela is a mother, 46 years old, married, with five children between the ages of 17 and 31. They live in a community of the village of Pajoca.

To be able to support her family with the household expenses, she works making traditional güipiles [blouses]. She has been doing this activity for about 10 years. Manuela has gotten to be well-known as one of the best weavers in her community for how creative she is.

Manuela is seeking a loan with which she will invest in the purchase of raw materials such as thread of different colors and styles to continue making lovely traditional güipiles and meet her customers' demand. Her greatest desire is to strengthen her business and improve her family's living conditions.
