A loan helped to buy fingerling.

Noong Het 85 Group's story

Yen was born in 1991. She lives with her mother-in-law, husband, son, and daughter in a Thai house in a poor village. Her son is studying in grade 2 and her daughter is in kindergarten. Most of her income comes from farming, such as planting rice and raising chickens, pigs, and fish.

This is the third time Yen has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program to buy fingerling (small fish that can be sold some months after raising). The loans are precious and she has had a lot of good results, so she hopes this time her investment will be successful in the near future. With her profits, she will save to buy a buffalo.

Yen dreams that her family will be always be filled with warmth and happiness. In the photo, she stands first from the right.
