Lovelyn's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, cooking oil, popcorn, and a food container for her food market business.

Lovelyn's story

Lovelyn is a 40-year-old woman and she is married, with three children. She lives with her family in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

To earn a living, Lovelyn runs a small marketing business, selling cooked food, such as cakes, eggs, fish and chips, popcorn, and juice at the market. She has been in this business for seven years.

Lovelyn has requested this loan to help her pay for additional flour, cooking oil, popcorn, and a food container, to assist her in her business.

She plans to use the profits from her sales to meet her family's expenses and provide a better living for her family.

She joined South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) in 2016 to gain access to financial services for her business.
