Idalia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase several sacks of fertilizer and pay for labor costs to plant and maintain her coffee in order to increase her harvests and generate more income.

Idalia's story

Idalia is a 58-year-old woman. She has six young children. She lives with them in the municipality of Nueva Frontera, Santa Barbara. She has always worked in agriculture. From this business, she earns income to pay for household expenses, food, and her children’s education. Her crop is located on her own land. She sells the harvests she obtains by the quintal depulped, wet, or dried to brokers from the area.

She is requesting her seventh loan from the institution, for 20,000 HNL, to invest in the purchase of fertilizers and the payment of labor costs to plant and maintain the coffee. Her dream is to grow more coffee and have optimal conditions in order to increase her harvests and generate more income.
