Isabela's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to gain access to cost-efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for maize cultivation.

Isabela's Group's story

Pictured above is Isabela. She is often described as an extremely friendly person. She is 20 years old and, as a group leader, she is representing her group of four farmers in Kilolo South District, Tanzania.

Isabela is returning this season to work with One Acre Fund again, to grant her access to quality training and acquire new farming methods, which is why she decided to join in the first place. Isabela says that she is happy to have made that decision because, since she first joined in 2018, she has a larger farm support group, which has improved her day-to-day life significantly. Isabela will use the profits from this season to invest in a business.

The group will use this loan to purchase seeds and fertilizer to plant a total of 4.5 acres. Additionally, the group will also receive a total of 1 solar light.
