Domingo Antonio De Jesus's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies for his shoe-, lamp- and chair-making business.

Domingo Antonio De Jesus's story

Antonio, 58, lives in Ibarra. He was born in Colombia and moved to Ecuador with his wife 12 years ago. His wife moved back to Colombia because of family-related problems and Antonio stayed in Ecuador with their two children.

Antonio operates a business making and selling shoes, sandals and other craft products. He operates the business from his rented house and sells what he makes at local markets on weekends. The business is going well, he says, and he is applying for a loan that he will use to buy the supplies he needs to maintain the business. His earnings pay for his children's schooling and he hopes his investments in the business will help him to gain new customers and grow the business further.

Antonio is grateful to Kiva lenders for their support and says that you are helping him fulfill his hopes and dreams for his family.
