Teobadina's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to gain access to cost-efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for maize cultivation.

Teobadina's Group's story

Teobadina, pictured above, has been a farmer for 10 years and is now proud to represent her group of 14 farmers in Iringa Two District. She is 31 years old, married, and has three children.

Teobadina likes to think of herself as a very friendly person. She has been working alongside One Acre Fund since 2015 and decided to represent her group because she wanted to help more farmers. She says that being part of the One Acre Fund community has meant that she has had more profits from each harvest. Teobadina plans to use the profits from this coming season to send her children to school.

In total, Teobadina’s Group will receive inputs to cultivate 16.5 acres of land. Given that some members of the group will also be purchasing a solar light, with this loan, the group will also receive a total of one solar light.
