Alia's story

Alia is a 44-year-old divorced woman seeking to fund her business to improve her financial situation. She has a family of six and is the breadwinner of the family. One of her older sons works in a factory while the other is a police officer. Alia also has two children enrolled in school. She is a hard-working single mother that wants to build a career and be successful.

Alia’s business involves purchasing supplies and various products to make gift boxes and accessories. She always had a hobby of making beautiful accessories, which she further developed by watching tutorials and seeing what’s new in stores. Alia’s biggest struggle was finding the right markets and ways to distribute her accessories. The community around her, such as neighbors and family members, have helped spread the word about Alia’s products which gave her the encouragement to expand. She started contracting with a store to take orders and sell her accessories through them.

Alia is asking for a 1500 JOD loan to purchase products and design more accessories. Her dream is to be a successful and independent women that can provide the comfortable life her family deserves.
