Raquel Yamilet's story
Raquel Yamilet C. O. is 35 years old and lives in the Villa Venezuela district. She is married and her husband is a construction worker. They have two children, who are 15 and 17 years old and are both attending secondary school. She has worked hard to be able to offer her children a better future and four years ago, with the help of her husband, she has started an optical business, the "Óptica Ambulante DAYLOP". The main problem she faces in this activity is that the market is very competitive, so that it is necessary to have more and better products to offer in order to stay in business. For this reason she decided to request a loan to invest in her business and so to be able to offer a large variety of products. She is very grateful for this opportunity that can help her to improve her business and in the long term to increase the financial possibilities of her family and, consequently, to help her children to receive a good education and to have good living standards.
