A loan helped to invest in medicines (acetaminophen, antibiotics, anti-fungals, etc.) and personal hygiene products so as to keep her pharmacy well-stocked.

Marta Estela's story

Marta, age 51, is a micro-businesswoman in the city of Cartagena de Indias who started up her pharmacy in 2015. She is single and, in the beginning, although she lacked capital she had plenty of desire to succeed. She stocked her business with fast-moving medicines, and with the passage of time she began to offer personal hygiene products such as diapers, shampoo, and deodorant, among other items.

Her business has prospered and at this time she is arranging her first Kiva loan in order to invest in medicines (acetaminophen, antibiotics, anti-fungals, etc.) and personal hygiene products so that her business can remain well stocked.

Support her with a loan.
