Mahabat's story

Mahabat, 62, is a widow. She has 5 children. Mahabat has a high school education and makes a living from farming. She has been engaged in farming since 1988. Through her hard work and thanks to the help of her children, she now owns 5 cows, 20 sheep, 4 horses and a 1,4-ha plot of land where she grows clover and barley.

Planning to expand her farming business, Mahabat is requesting a loan of 60,000 KGS from Bai Tushum Bank. She would like to buy some more cows and sheep in order to increase her profits. The profits will help Mahabat to improve her family's financial well-being.
