Flor De Totora Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped sell fish.

Flor De Totora Group's story

The AC. "Flor de Totora", as part of the Copacabana Focal Center, is composed of eight members and is headed by a board of directors where Rose Mery is the President.

The loan they take will benefit small microentrepreneurs where Rose Mary, 44 years old, is a member. Currently, she has a fish sales business. She says that she learned this business on her own initiative many years ago.

The loan that she will now take out will be for a capital increase to purchase fishing materials that she will acquire from the wholesale vendors of the city of La Paz. Later it will be used for fishing in her town. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her family economically, since she is single and has four children.

Her aspirations are that her children will be professionals and that they will support their community.
